How long have you been living in Zurich?
I’ve been living in Zurich since 2015. I grew up in Buchs SG, but it wasn’t difficult for me to move to Zurich because I have always wanted to live here.
What do you love most about Zurich?
I love summers here, summer in Zurich is always beautiful! Zurich has everything – whether partying, hiking or enjoying the time at the lake, there is something for everyone. So many events take place in summer: The Streetfood Festival, Musical Festivals, Open-Air Events… it feels like I’m always on holidays!
What do you do?
I’m a serial entrepreneur and currently run a digital marketing agency, but I have also worked on financial projects in the past. I love to split my time between different projects, and I am responsible for the finance department at INDULGE.
How do you feel about the food scene in Zurich?
I find it super exciting to see how the food scene has developed in Zurich. There are always new start-ups popping up, and we love to try them out with our friends. I therefore found the idea of offering food tours a great opportunity to bring the food scene of Zurich closer to travelers as well as locals.
Name your top 3 restaurants in Zurich.
The Bite – the best gourmet burger of all times! I also love Le Cèdre and Cinque, which is my favorite Italian restaurant. Their pastas and raviolis are all freshly made in-house.
Where would you take a date?
I would recommend Cinque, one of the first dates with my boyfriend was actually there: The restaurant often organizes various events during dinner. That evening, there was a clairvoyant. You could just take a seat, and she would read the cards for you – it was a very fun evening.
Which Swiss dishes would you encourage travelers to try?
I would recommend to indulge in fondues at Chäsalp: This restaurant is located inside a former stable of the “Alter Tobelhof” farm. The building is heritage protected, it has been renovated with great care and love. They offer a fondue tasting where you can try as many fondues as you want for a fixed price (for at least 3 people). From up here, you can also enjoy a great view of Zurich and in summer a beautiful sunset.
