THOMAS, CO-FOUNDER AND GENERAL COUNSEL

 

Growing up in a rural village near Zurich, Thomas has been fascinated with food from a very early age. Although he learned quickly that his talents were rather on the demanding than on the supplying side of the food market, Thomas helped his parents to cook dishes for family and friends. Associated with his deep passion for sweet dishes, Thomas has become a decent baker over time (chocolate cake being one of his specialties).

While studying at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Thomas kept working on his gourmet skills when visiting the best restaurants in and around St. Gallen by ticking off the food places listed in the “Bilanz restaurant ranking”. During that time, Thomas also embarked on private “food tours” with a friend and visited exclusive fine dining places like “im Schiffchen” in Düsseldorf or restaurant “Vendôme” in Bergisch Gladbach (both Germany).

Up until today, Thomas and his wife love to welcome guests and serve delicious food. Also, they love discovering Zurich’s food places on the occasion of their weekly date nights.
